Day 1: Radek Hlaváček, the owner of the company welcomes Mr. PD Dr. PD in Prague. Ranjit S. Bhardwaj from Berlin along with a delegation from India – Dr S. Ponnusamy and Dr. Satish Kumar from SRM University. In Bohemia they will meet our leading scientific institutions for cooperation in science and research.

Day 2 : Delegation of the SRM University from India visited NUDZ (National Institute of Mental Health) where RNDr. Charles Valph PhD. introduced the latest methods of treatment and measurement of neurological diseases.

The representatives of SRM have shown interest in cooperation in research and both institutions together with Unique Therapeutics Global s.r.o. prepare the documents for the use of nano liposomes for the treatment and registration of medications.

At the Faculty of VŠCHT doc. Martin Kuchař has signed an agreement on mutual cooperation and research of Unique Therapeutics Global s.r.o.

This step will provide the basis for international clinical studies of nano liposomal formulations in cooperation with Unique Therapeutics Global s.r.o.

Day 3: Prof. Ondřej Slanř MD PhD welcomed the delegation from India to 1. LF University of Charles. The representatives of the two universities agreed to prepare a joint cooperation agreement with Unique Therapeutics Global s.r.o. on research and clinical studies of nano liposomalnich formulations. Both universities have shown interest in deepening cooperation in the form of exchange of students at faculties and double-sided lectures.

Day 4: The cooperation agreement of the SRM University and Unique Therapeutics Global s.r.o. has been signed at our headquarters in Ústí nad Labem.

The purpose of this Agreement is to prepare and conduct clinical studies of liposomal formulations of Unique Therapeutics Global s.r.o., their subsequent registration and marketing as a medicinal product.

Our Team

Radek Hlaváček

One of the founding members of Unique Therapeutics, a Canadian company based in Ústí nad Labem, the city where Radek lived until he was 19 years old. As an immigrant he moved to Switzerland and later to Canada, where he has lived with his wife since 1991. He started cultivating cannabis and using the flowers and extracts of Cannabis for medical purposes in 2000 after obtaining his MMAR License (Marijuana Medical Access Regulations).

Ivana Bednářová

Ivana Bednářová has twenty years of experience in sales, marketing and public relations, having held senior positions in a number of international companies during her career. Within her own marketing and PR agency, she founded and led several successful projects related to healthy lifestyle and international certification of food supplements and food. A graduate of Anglo American University with a degree in Economics, she has three children and her hobbies include sports, travel and gastronomy.

Liam Duff

As the Chief Science and Technology Officer at Unique Therapeutics, Liam is responsible for the development, testing, manufacturing and compliance of our manufacturing processes as well as day-to-day operations. Intellectual property and technology are at the core of our company Unique Therapeutics and Liam is responsible for ensuring we are always at the forefront of the most effective ways to deliver cannabinoids into the body and ensuring our quality is the best it can be.

Ranjit S. Bhardwaj

Ranjit S. Bhardwaj after studying biomedical sciences in immunology, cancer immunobiology and regenerative medicine has specialized and qualified in cancer immunobiology and regenerative medicine, cellular and molecular pathology. Dr. Ranjit Bhardwaj is active in a network of cannabis physicians and prescribers, is involved in clinical research projects at universities and R&D forums in Germany and abroad, and holds corporate advisory roles in the medical and pharmaceutical industry.

Jakub Kryšpín

Jakub Kryšpín is an expert in cannabis treatment. Since 2013 he has been successfully treating with the help of Phoenix Tears. Since 2021, he has continued his work in healing and scientific knowledge in cooperation with our company, focusing primarily on the treatment of oncological, but also neurodegenerative, autoimmune diseases and other diseases that somehow affect the human endocannabinoid system. Jakub has been suffering from multiple sclerosis since 2006 and was once in a wheelchair. He claims that cannabis is the most important herb on planet Earth, given its wide range of uses.

Ing. Miloš Podolský

Miloš Podolský became a new member of the Unique Therapeutics Global team in 2024. Miloš's experience in international sales and marketing has become a welcome asset not only for the company. Unique, but also for our international partners. Unique Therapeutics Global has its roots and experience in Canada where the founding members of Unique have been involved since 2012 in the development of cannabis legalization legislation and conditions for cultivation and processing of medical cannabis. This experience and knowledge helps us to establish cooperation with foreign partners who are thinking about legalization and medical cannabis in their country or are only in the beginning. By combining the many years of knowledge of our company and the business experience of Milos Podolski, we are able to offer a wide range of options both in terms of legislation and production. This places Unique Therapeutics Global with its SEED TO SALE program among the world leaders in the cannabis industry. Milos' hobbies include sailing, boating, sports car racing and traveling.

John Wanyu

Current research on CBD shows that cannabis could help African nations with the disease sickle cell anemia. Meetings held with Ugandan government officials in October 2024 have provided the impetus and foundation for the preparation of clinical trials to test the efficacy of Unique Therapeutics' liposomal formulations in the treatment of Sickle Cell Disease. Johnny will be our coordinator and representative in Uganda. His role is to prepare the conditions for the clinical trial, conduct the clinical trial in collaboration with the collaborating university hospital and the Ministry of Health. We hope that our data will confirm the efficacy of Unique T products in the treatment, Unique T will ensure the production and distribution of the drug product in Uganda.
